Angela & Spencer Brooks
We want to ensure seniors’ homes are safe,” said Angela. My mom is in her 90's and still lives in her same house. She’s lucky that she has family to help her with things, but she would be a perfect client for the TruBlue model.
Spencer has always been in home improvement, running his own construction business that handles large remodeling projects. When Angela retired, the pair moved to Florida, and they began investigating business models that hinged on smaller projects that were more in line with home improvement and handyman services.
“We are in St. Petersburg, and there’s definitely a demand in this area,” Angela said. “It seems like there are a majority of people retiring here. They might lose a spouse but not want to leave their homes, so they need extra help.”
