Nate Kear
TruBlue is different than other companies because of our full-service approach to home maintenance and because we want to partner with you to help you care for your home in a professional and customizable way. I’m Nate Kear, the local owner and operator of TruBlue of Northwest San Antonio, and I opened this business because I saw an opportunity to provide a much-needed service in a professional, trustworthy way.
At TruBlue, our expert technicians can help with handyman repairs, carpentry, yard work, seasonal services and minor home renovations. We work with private homeowners and also realtors and rental property owners who need to get homes move-in ready quickly or keep them maintained.
While we can work with anyone – including individual and business clients – we are specially trained to work with seniors and families. By providing senior-specific programs, we are able to help our clients age in place by offering home safety assessments and performing various home safety modifications.

The latest project involved re-painting the walls in our downstairs living room and kitchen as well as building out and replacing our wooden patio extension/deck. Jose was our main guy out at the home and he was wonderful! He was constantly showing us what he was doing, where he was patching any holes that needed work, showing us the type of paint that was needed based on samples he was taking, and since the weather didn’t agree with him last week he came and finished the entire deck in one day.
He had a partner, Eugene, who helped him get started on the deck and helped with replacing lights in our office. He was also super communicative and professional and both guys were knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend them for your next project! ”
