Meet the Owner
Malik and Ambereen Jaffer
Dr. Ambereen Jaffer brings over twenty-five years of experience as a public health leader, dedicated to improving the safety, health, and well-being of individuals and communities across the U.S., Asia, and Africa. Throughout her career with organizations such as the Peace Corps, US Government Agencies, global NGOs, and universities, she has led large-scale programs, managed multimillion dollar portfolios, and built strong teams and partnerships across governments and communities. Her work has focused on practical strategies, systems, and training that empower health care workers and communities to deliver consistent, high-quality care, especially for vulnerable populations, including seniors and families.
Dr. Jaffer’s passion for serving the community and supporting aging populations naturally led her to TruBlue. She is inspired by the opportunity to apply her background in program design, operations, and capacity building to home safety, aging-in-place, and ongoing home maintenance services. She sees TruBlue as a meaningful extension of her life’s work, helping older adults live safely and independently while giving families peace of mind. Her commitment to integrity, compassionate leadership, and results driven service aligns strongly with TruBlue’s mission to make homes and communities safer, more supportive, and more accessible for all.
For nearly three decades, Malik led teams that designed and delivered safer, more supportive health environments for older adults, families, and caregivers in the USA and abroad, and now focusing on home services and rehabilitation. He specializes in building reliable, efficient service organizations that translate complex needs into simple, worry‑free experiences at home, from safety improvements and accessibility to ongoing maintenance and support.
Malik’s work has ranged from strengthening HIV and health systems in Africa to leading high‑growth, tech‑enabled service businesses, always with a focus on outcomes: safer spaces, better client experiences, and scalable models that actually work for seniors, caregivers, and busy families. He enjoys taking fragmented services like clinical care, home safety, handyman work, and ongoing maintenance and knitting them together into integrated, customer‑centric solutions that reduce risk and enhance independence. His background and experience aligns perfectly with the TruBlue ethos and ethic of helping seniors age in place safely.
Malik is energized by building teams, streamlining operations, and using data and training to improve quality, safety, and client satisfaction. Whether it’s a senior aging in place, a caregiver managing multiple responsibilities, or a property owner trying to protect their investment, he’s driven by one simple question: how do we make life easier, safer, and more dignified for the people we serve?
