San Diego’s Dignity at Home Program: Free Fall Prevention Items for Seniors

At TruBlue Home Service Ally, our mission has always been to help seniors live safely, confidently, and independently in the comfort of their own homes. That’s why we love sharing valuable community resources that support aging in place.

One exceptional program currently available in San Diego County is the Dignity at Home Fall Prevention Program, offered through the County of San Diego Health & Human Services Agency, Aging & Independence Services.

What the Program Offers — for Free

Eligible residents can receive free fall-prevention products designed to improve safety and reduce the risk of injury at home. These items may include:

• Home safety tools

• Assistive devices

• Fall-prevention equipment

• Other supportive items that encourage healthy, independent living

(Items are available while supplies last.)

These tools can make a huge difference — especially for seniors or people with disabilities who want to stay safely in their homes.

Who Qualifies?

To receive free fall-prevention items through the Dignity at Home program, individuals must:

• Be 60+ years old, or

• Be a person of any age living with a disability, and

• Be a resident of San Diego County

• Be at risk of falling
