Anthony Runnels
I’m Anthony Runnels, a Certified Aging in Place Specialist and owner of TruBlue Home Ally serving the South Bay. I’ve always loved building things - from model cars and planes as a kid to bridges in high school physics class. Even back then, I was fascinated by how things work and the satisfaction that comes from seeing it all come together. That same curiosity and care for craftsmanship continue to guide how we approach every project today.
I was born and raised in Southern California and earned my undergraduate degree from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. My career began in finance - first as an auditor at Ernst & Young, later serving in senior leadership roles including CFO and COO positions. While I gained valuable experience, I found myself yearning for something more meaningful — a way to use my skills to directly serve others and make a difference in people’s everyday lives. That search eventually led me to TruBlue.
When I discovered TruBlue, I knew I’d found the perfect fit. It combined my lifelong love of fixing, building, and problem-solving with my passion for helping people. TruBlue’s mission to support busy families and help seniors live safely at home resonated deeply with me. The idea that we can reduce fall risks, improve comfort, and make homes safer and more enjoyable isn’t just work - it’s purpose.
